New BA Gold Membership

We're launching a new Gold membership category for 2025.  This is at the heart of changes intended to secure a strong and influential national trade body into the next decade.  Gold membership is a more straightforward, accessibly-priced way for any member to play a bigger part in, and get more value from BA membership.

From January 2025, Gold Members will steer key areas of our programme, gain preferential access to industry services, and be invited to form a new, broader Membership Council.  Gold membership will offer all the benefits of normal membership, plus:

• A seat on a new biannual Membership Council to steer our strategy, agree industry priorities, and hold the Association to account
• Access to new Market Development Steering Groups.  The first will be an Electric Markets Development Group to influence govt policy on e-bikes, e-scooters and micromobility, agree industry standards, and deliver our e-bike programme. Subsequent steering groups will be created for other key market development areas.
• Preferential terms to access industry services including:
  • Preferential and lower cost access to our new E-bike Safety Audit & Register - to demonstrate your safety credentials
  • Preferential and lower cost access to our new Cycle Industry Battery Service – to meet your battery take-back obligations
  • Detailed half-yearly Market Reports from our world-leading Market Data Service - to support your business planning
• The right to access our Investors in Cycling branding and assets - to demonstrate to your customers and suppliers your commitment to developing the UK cycle industry.
